We are journeying into the world of online social networking, but with a purpose - to grow in God through His Word.
Or if you don't know God but want a little more understanding of His Word, the bible, this is a great place to investigate the Word with a community of online believers associated with Celebration Centre Nelson.
We use a third party application called "Flashmeeting" and suggest you create a sign-in account (it's free) so when you receive the invite to the bible study scheduled meeting you can take advantage of all the benefits, like video. All you need is a computer, webcam, microphone and a bible.
Each month the Presenter will announce the chapter in the bible we will study over the next month. The following month we will meet online and discuss what we learnt from our study. As everyone adds their tidbit, insight, revelation, we will discuss these findings and share. There will also be time for questions and answers. There will always be a "Presenter" who chairs the meeting and helps it run smoothly. We have a suggestion box on the sidebar of this site if you have parts of the bible you would like to see studied or even topics in the bible. In our meetings online it may be that through the group discussion it will lead on to a particular study, the possibilities are endless.
